For the first time in several years, my writing schedule aligned with National Novel Writing Month (Nanowrimo). In case you haven’t heard of it, it’s a global event where participants write a 50,000 word novel in November. Go here to find out more about the history and to join the fun.
So, I’m writing the final book in my Always a Bridesmaid series for Nanowrimo 2017. I intended to start out strong yesterday, full of creativity and words.
Best laid plans, right?
Instead, the Switch Witch brought me a 103-degree fever, double earaches, joint pain, and fatigue. I slept for 4 hours during the day yesterday!! But fear not! I have gone to the doctor and gotten the elixir of life—er—medicine. I am feeling somewhat better today.
So, my pitiful word count for yesterday was 256 words. But today is a new day! And I shall crank out all the words!!
